POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative, data, and project support to the CDC Operations Manager and other management personnel. This is a fast-paced role focused on customer service, data accuracy, and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Interaction

  • Proactively and positively greet customers, employees, and vendors.

  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls for delivery quality assurance.

Data Management

  • Perform high-level, accurate data entry.

  • Analyze trends and resolve discrepancies using system and report data.

Daily Task Support

  • Assist with daily tasks such as HACCP documentation and verification, safety checks, orientation setup, scanning, filing, and tracking paperwork.

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with HR-related projects and administrative initiatives as needed.

SCHEDULE

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday

  • May require occasional flexibility during peak business periods.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Hourly Pay: $20.00, consistent with our internal compensation framework.
Classification: Non-Exempt / Full-Time
Incentive: Not bonus-eligible
Final pay determined by experience, skills, internal equity, and available budget.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and organization.

  • Ability to handle confidential information and manage multiple priorities.

  • Positive, professional attitude.

  • Proficiency in speaking and understanding English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-priority office environment.

  • Ability to work at CDC temperatures (38–70°F) for short periods when needed.

  • Tolerant of frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
