E.A. Sween is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Woodridge, IL. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set the pace, train employees, solve problems, and help keep daily warehouse operations moving.

You will work alongside the team while supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with daily priorities, employee training, task assignments, order accuracy, productivity, and safety. Our warehouse team picks fresh food products and loads route trucks for delivery to 7-Eleven stores.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Help lead daily warehouse operations and workflow
• Assign tasks and keep the team focused on priorities
• Train, coach, and support warehouse associates
• Work alongside the team picking orders and loading route trucks
• Support receiving, product dating, pricing, inventory, and staging
• Monitor order accuracy, productivity, and quality
• Identify problems and help keep work moving
• Reinforce safe work practices and food safety standards
• Communicate daily progress, issues, and staffing needs to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Step into different warehouse functions as needed

WHAT YOU NEED

• Warehouse, distribution, production, logistics, or other fast-paced operations experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to train, guide, and motivate others
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stay organized and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as business needs require

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Previous team lead, trainer, shift lead, or supervisory experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 250 lbs.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, pushing, and reaching
• Work in refrigerated and dry areas ranging from approximately 35°F to 75°F
