Packoff Label Attendant - Weekend Shift

What We’re Seeking
A reliable, quality-focused team member with excellent attention to detail who actively seeks opportunities to improve processes for greater efficiency without compromising product quality. Hours: 5am-6:30pm Fri-Sun
Compensation: $20 per hour, plus $1.75 shift differential.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
General
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to uphold food safety and product integrity.
- Consistently follow safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds, cultures, abilities, languages, or perspectives.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Food Safety
- Execute assigned food safety, quality and continuous improvement activities to support SQF, USDA and regulatory requirements along with customer requirements.
- Follow all GMP’s as well as the policies and procedures and Standard Work of EA Sween Company.
- Comply with USDA regulations and Company policies.
- Complete all mandatory EA Sween Company quarterly safety trainings to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Perform tasks in accordance with current GMP and company policies.
Standard Work
- Scan & receive film by lot code and quantity using handheld device into NorthStar or transfer to Eden Prairie.
- Have film, labels, and all required items needed for each production line ready for each work order and shift using Lot Code Tracking.
- Review the work order to determine supplies needed and prepare for each line and work order.
- Provide face and ingredient lables to each line, ensuring they are scanned to the work order using the RF Scanner and the paperwork is completed correctly.
- Provide clear or paper wrap to lines, ensuring they are scanned to the work order using the RF Scanner and the paperwork is completed correctly.
- Provide film to each line, ensuring to capture the lot code on the paperwork.
- Notify planning, purchasing, supervisors, managers when short on product that is scheduled to be used.
- Assist in providing a friendly, safe, clean, positive work environment.
- Assist Film Warehouse Attendant II with receiving products into inventory at North Star as time permits.
- Assist with cycle counts of labels, film, paper wrap, corrugated products, etc as needed.
- Stock shelves with film, labels, inserts and all other items maintained on inventory in the film warehouse at Eden Prairie and North Star facilities.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
Required
- Possess a teamwork-oriented mindset and communicate effectively with others.
- Maintain a reliable attendance record.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
- Willing to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
- Previous assembly line experience.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Able to communicate verbally and written in English.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during a 10-12.5-hour shift, based on the production schedule.
- Able to work within cool temperatures (35-45 degrees) continuously.
- Able to be on feet continuously during a 10-12.5-hour shift, based on the production schedule.
- Able to bend, turn, push & pull continuously.
- Able to reach overhead frequently.
- Able to work overtime as the workload demands.
- Able to keep up with production line speeds.
