Compensation: The target salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 USD annually, consistent with our internal compensation framework. This position is classified as Grade 13, with a full pay range of $66,096.68 to $99,200.97 USD. This position is eligible for an incentive bonus up to 5% of your annual salary, prorated based on your start date. Final pay is determined by your experience, skills, internal equity, and available budget.
What We’re Seeking
A highly self-motivated, quality conscious individual who coordinates and supervises the daily operation of the warehouse during a bustling Shift 1.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
This leader oversees daily warehouse operations, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. Responsible for the full order cycle and supply chain performance, they also lead hiring, training, vendor reporting, and finished goods shipping from the Value-Added Center (VAC). Strong knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, CCPs, and USDA/FDA regulations is required, along with adherence to all company and safety policies. In addition, this role has an expanded scope that includes driving process improvements, implementing systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to support initiatives. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Health and Safety
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, compliant work environment.
- Serve as after-hours contact for employees and plant security; coordinate post-incident drug screenings as needed.
- Promote injury prevention through training and strict adherence to safety policies.
Food Safety
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and audit standards across operations.
- Oversee corrective actions from audits and partner with maintenance to address facility risks.
- Train employees annually on food safety, allergens, and food defense practices.
Leadership
- Supervise warehouse associates and promote a team based “We Will Win as One” culture.
- Coach, develop, and evaluate team performance, including staffing, training, and discipline.
- Resolve employee relations issues, maintain communication, and coordinate cross-departmentally.
Operations/Supply Chain Logistics
- Oversee order fulfillment, shipping, inventory, and materials movement across VAC and other departments.
- Drive daily production, reduce waste/downtime, and ensure scheduling aligns with staffing and resource needs.
- Manage vendor logistics, trailer storage, raw material flow, and compliance with all warehouse SOPs.
- Manage inventory, building customer orders, and shipping at VAC.
- Manages the customer orders slacking process from frozen to refrigerated and vice versa.
Quality Assurance/Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and document CCPs and SSOPs to ensure HACCP compliance.
- Conduct audits and support continuous improvement initiatives tied to quality, cost, and efficiency.
- Balance safety, quality, and productivity while supporting CI projects and teams.
Equipment
- Operate and oversee use of pallet jacks, forklifts, RFS scan guns, and RedZone systems.
- Utilize E1 JD Edwards and other digital tools to support warehouse operations and tracking.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
- Associate’s degree or 2 years of previous leadership experience required; Ability to lead and manage staff
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Proven ability to contribute to a culture of belonging by valuing diversity and promoting equity in team dynamics and decision-making.
- Basic math skills
- Excellent Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous machine operator experiences a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a role with increasing responsibility, including experience leading projects or initiatives.
- Must have previous experience in food manufacturing and/or clean room environment
Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Preferred skills
- Previous experience in logistics and distribution preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Distribution, Logistics or Supply Chain
- 5-8 years of supervisory experience in a logistics environment.
- Record of successful distribution and logistics management
- Proficient in standard logistics software
Prefer experience supervising employees from diverse cultural backgrounds
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Full-time, 40-hour position requiring flexibility to support various shifts, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and pushing/pulling (up to 300 lbs) using material handling equipment.
- Requires the ability to work in cool environments (down to 50°F) and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, kneeling, and overhead reaching.
- Must have adequate vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception) and ability to adjust focus.
- Role involves collaboration across diverse teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; other duties may be assigned as needed.
