Full Pay Range: $94,810 – $150,352 DOE

What We’re Seeking

A reliable, quality-focused leader with excellent attention to detail who actively seeks opportunities to improve their team and department processes for greater efficiency without compromising product quality. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Direct/manage/supervise the receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing and shipping activities within the warehouse. This includes supervisory responsibilities for warehouse and material handling team members and drivers, either directly or through subordinate supervisors.
  • Plan and implement management policies and processes for cost management and efficiency of operations. Advise on inventory planning, scheduling and forecasting.
  • Utilize ERP and WMS systems to organize storage locations for optimal space and equipment utilization.
  • Oversee FIFO processes to prevent product from becoming aged and in best condition for manufacturing operations.
  • Manage schedule requirements to achieve accurate and timely order distribution which meets customer needs.
  • Responsible for developing the warehouse team including performance management, hiring/terminations, discipline, training and daily team communications.
  • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Be an active member of the plant leadership team as well as contribute to the overall company supply chain team.
  • Develop a solid understanding of EA Sween processes and customer requirements and make or recommend improvements as necessary to stream line operations.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and innovation in the development of warehouse operations.
  • Lead training staff by setting expectations, provide regular feedback and recognition, and coaching for maximum performance.
  • Actively demonstrate and coach in others, the spirit of EA Sween Company Values.

What You’ll Need (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3-5 years of previous leadership experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or distribution center environment. Prior experience with food products preferred.
  • Demonstrate experience in warehouse logistics and inventory management.
  • Proficient computer skills including ERP, WMS and Microsoft applications.
  • Able to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong math and analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to successfully multi-task in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven record of working in a high growth business.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Must be able to work well with various levels of employees and diverse cultures.
  • Must be able to work in cold conditions, -10 to 50 degrees occasionally.
  • Able to continuously stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach overhead with hands and arms.
  • Able to continuously sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl as well as the ability to bend, turn, push or pull.
  • Occasionally lift or move between 25-40 lbs.
  • Able to see close, distance, color and peripheral vision along with depth perception and able to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally work long hours and/or weekend hours as job duties demand.
